Nick Howell, owner and director of Corporate Togs in Bridgnorth, married Annabel Fullerton, a medical secretary, in an intimate ceremony at beautiful Delbury Hall. This is the story of their big day

The Bride: Annabel, 27, is a medical secretary at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. She is the daughter of Pauline and Kevin Fullerton, of Shifnal.

The Bridegroom: Nick, 29, owns and runs his own company, specialising in bespoke and personalised workwear. He is the son of Roy and Sue Howell, of Underton, Bridgnorth.

The couple met when Nick moved to Shifnal and became friends with the girl next door Annabel. The rest, as they say, is history, says Annabel. The couple now live in Bourton, Much Wenlock.

Their special day began with a small, intimate ceremony with close family and friends at Delbury Hall, Diddlebury, near Bridgnorth. Their betrothal was toasted in pink champagne from Tanners.

The bride wore a lace mermaid dress with a lace bolero from Emily Kay bridal studio in Pattingham. It was teamed with a headpiece with pearls from Claire Mischevani in Shrewsbury.

Annabel also borrowed a platinum and diamond bracelet from Nicks sister Katie and her something old was a handkerchief belonging to her gran who died last year.

The bridegrooms suit was a three-piece from Charles Tyrwhitt in Birmingham, teamed with a Ted Baker grey patterned shirt and Charles Tyrwhitt tie.

Principal men wore the same tie in pink. Nick, who always wears odd socks, did so on his special day too!

A three-course wedding breakfast by Ludlow Catering Company was followed by games of croquet and boules on the lawns.

The evening included music by the HMV Band, led by friend Mike Holloway, and a pig roast from Percys Pig Roast.

The couple honeymooned in Thailand, returning to the country where Nick had popped the question two years earlier.

The highlight for the couple?
Seeing everyone we love most together, sharing our happiness. We had a fantastic day.
