October brings autumn hues and vivid berries to the hedgerows and woodlands of Shropshire and this month is marked by cool nights and extensive fogs in valley and dale. It is a golden time of year, dominated by yellows, oranges and russets and the emergence of a cornucopia of multi-coloured fungi in every woodland
