Henry V is the gripping story of a leader whose inspirational use of language rouses his loyal followers and terrifies his enemies. It is full of action and political manoeuvring, exuberant, funny and dark.

The Rooftop Theatre’s version of the famous play is contemporary, with the connections between Shakespeare’s language and modern military engagement strikingly resonant. As with their last production, The Comedy of Errors, the cast is made up of talented local actors.

The theatre company look for alternative and unusual venues with dramatic opportunities, as in this case with Ludlow Brewing Company becoming the stage.

Tickets are selling quickly, with one of the nights already fully-booked. For booking, visit: www.rooftoptheatre.co.uk/whats-on/?dm_i=16LV,36M7O,GIEKS7,BEKW2,1
